The Multiservice Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures for Nuclear,Biological,and Chemical(NBC)Protection is a manual designed to provide guidance on how to plan military operations in an NBC environment. The book focuses on individual as well as collective protection considerations that need to be taken into account while protecting both force personnel and civilians.

It serves as a reference guide for combatant commands,joint task forces(JTFs),functional/service component units,and staffs who may face challenges during operations in an NBC environment.The manual addresses concepts/principles/TTP-to include planning/operational considerations/training/support functions-and drives examination of organizations/materiel developments applicable to NBC protection.

The audience includes foreign/domestic locations that could potentially be challenged by such environments.The United States Army(USA)/Marine Corps(USMC)/Navy/Airforce will incorporate this publication's procedures into their training/doctrinal publications/directives according to governing directives.No material contained herein should conflict with USCG regulations or other directives from higher authority or supersede any order issued by higher authority.
